The cave is not something you find on a map.
It is an interior threshold—
a descent into the part of you
that has been waiting
to be met.
In the old ways,
the cave was where women went
when something in them was ready to change.
Not quickly.
Not visibly.
But truthfully.
Inside the cave,
there is no performance.
No need to explain yourself.
No expectation to arrive as anything other
than what you are.
It is a place of darkness—
but not the kind you fear.
The kind that allows you to feel
what has been hidden.
The kind that softens the edges
of who you thought you had to be.
Here…
your body begins to speak again.
Sensation returns.
The quiet voice underneath the noise
becomes easier to hear.
And the places you have learned to move around…
begin to ask for your attention.
The cave will work on you.
Not through force—
but through presence.
Through stillness.
Through the slow turning
of what is already within you
Ready to be Re-formed.
You may meet parts of yourself
you have avoided.
You may feel things
you have not allowed yourself to feel.
And you may also discover something unexpected—
a steadiness…
a knowing…
a quiet strength
that has been there all along.
This is not a place to fix yourself.
It is a place to enter into relationship
with what has shaped you.
And on the other side…
You emerge as someone
who can finally hold herself.
The cave does not give you something you didn’t have.
It reshapes you
into what is already yours.
To your body.
To your story.
To your capacity
to stay.
You won’t be alone
